I think it's maybe not the concept and storylines I wanted him to move away from ...because as you point out..at his core as a solo artist Coultrain is storyteller..

maybe I'm meaning that I really want this album to have songs that stand on their own...singles....Songs that even though people who haven't gotten into him before and understand the storyline...will still like the album.....

if rivers and streams is a sign of things to come I'm hopefully.

I really like Coultrain and want more people to get a chance to appreciate what he brings to the table this time....very talented dude.
