its gotten a semi hood pass, however ain't nobody ever gushed over it.
the reaction ain't ever been nearly the same.
no white act has ever made a cover that equals the power and soul that Whitney houston used on covering dolly parton's " i'll always love you"
and black folks covering the beatles took them joints to church. ray charles, aretha franklin and earth,wind and fire
