Best=the best by some objective standards?

Since Group Home couldn't rap very well, they can never be the best, only a favourite, right?

However, Aceyalone raps better than practically everyone in this poll from a technical standpoint, he had concepts for days and so on, yet only one person even mentioned "All balls don't bounce".

Clearly, how much we value various things on a hip-hop album is highly subjective, these objective standards you are implying don't really exist. It's perfectly possible that someone can feel that the quality of the beats on "Living proof" compensates for any weaknesses in the emceeing.
