I went to his first solo show in the bay (early 2011) and was expecting mostly adults... My ignorant ass was thinking, "Kids aint fuckin with Kendrick... They're not trying to hear what he's rapping about..." This was an 18 and up show and the bar was bare... Kids packed the spot and they knew every lyric to every song he performed from Overly Dedicated... And he had complete control over the crowd... It was pretty crazy to see...

I actually can see him doing better than J Cole numbers... Maybe not though... Obviously, I don't know what the kids are like and don't like... But I think Kendrick's appeal to an older audience is whats gonna help him sell more...
