I've struggled with Kiss' inclusion as well for years...But I think they were too much of a cultural force to front on...The thing for me is their concerts have always been their calling card..I like about 5 or six Kiss songs....But when I watch them in some of those old 70s concerts, they indeed showed what made them matter....

They were the biggest and most entertaining touring "rock" act of their era...It's no wonder that their biggest record is a concert album....
