Posted by hardware, Tue Apr-24-12 07:52 AM
2689929, Cee-Lo really is channelling will.i.am and Fergie on this lmao.
Posted by CondoM, Tue Apr-24-12 09:23 AM
It's not THAT bad, but this really isn't what anybody wants from Goodie Mob.
2689933, but jokes aside, it probably goes on the full album
Posted by hardware, Tue Apr-24-12 09:38 AM
in context
and i doubt the whole album is stuff like this. it was probably the safest material to do on a show like that
2689960, yeah i was surprised that MoB was doing this on The Voice at all
Posted by C. Thelonius, Tue Apr-24-12 10:21 AM
but shit is booty though
2690237, honestly, it really is, 'I'mma Be' is better than this
Posted by Bombastic, Tue Apr-24-12 06:11 PM

2689902, Lo trying to get the Mob paid i guess
Posted by rl9, Tue Apr-24-12 08:15 AM
now i could tolerate a Dangermouse produced Goodie Mob album.
this sounds like a B-side of the Ladykiller album tho.

2690465, lol!!

2689919, This is only a Goodie Mob song in title only...
Posted by HIM, Tue Apr-24-12 08:52 AM
I could see this working as a true Goodie Mob song if say perhaps "GOODIE MOB" was on the song!

Nah but really. I guess I understand why this is the way it is but they could have all did verses at least.

on the other hand, Cee-Lo is the one on top of the world, not me so I have to believe that he knows what he is doing.

I just hope that we get some traditional Goodie Mob soon too.

And who thought it was a good idea to arrange the picture that way.

"Ladies and Gentlemen. I'm Cee-Green Goodie. And these are the Goodie Mobs"

In my opinion, they've already started to break up again. That pic is strike 1. smh
2690976, you're uptight

it's a homage to the Beatles second album. Do the knowledge, boss. no big deal
2691092, tribute or not...
Posted by HIM, Thu Apr-26-12 09:05 AM
> it's a homage to the Beatles second album. Do the knowledge,
>boss. no big deal

it's very poor timing.
And who said that they had to pay homage to the Beatles Second Album?

The group is already fragile to begin with.
And they are already automatically on some Michael Jackson and The Jacksons kinda stuff now as it is.

They say that breaking up is hard to do, but i'm sure they'll find a way to make it happen sooner than later if they(whoever "they" may actually be) don't figure it out.

Of course if this "Tribute" is simply something a fan did then obviously I can only have beef with the actual song.

Posted by 13Rose, Tue Apr-24-12 10:10 AM
Real sad...
2690083, Cee-Lo settin up a trust fund for the other 3 would be less embarrassing
Posted by Bombastic, Tue Apr-24-12 12:52 PM
Somehow this manages to look/sound worse than not even just their last mediocre album but even Cee-Lo's recent shitty music.
2690293, lol
Posted by SP1200, Tue Apr-24-12 08:04 PM
2690296, I like most of Cee-Lo's recent music
Posted by dalecooper, Tue Apr-24-12 08:07 PM
...but this is really, really bad. There is zero relationship between the group that did "Soul Food"/"Still Standing" and this shit.
2690201, This is dope. I have no expectations/hopes, just listening
Posted by ToeJam, Tue Apr-24-12 04:35 PM
2690211, I knew they would get the BEP/Will.I.Am makeover

SHIT.

NOT EXCITED AT ALL for a new Goodie Mob album.

Expectations have been lowered way down after seeing and hearing this.

This is coming from a big, Big, BIG fan.

Posted by Invisiblist, Tue Apr-24-12 11:06 PM
2690373, That is not a Goodie song. That's a Ceelo song.
Posted by Invisiblist, Tue Apr-24-12 11:04 PM
I commend Ceelo for trying to bring the group in on the money, but this is not how to do it.
2690412, The optimist in me believes this WON'T be on the album
Posted by Laz aka Black Native, Wed Apr-25-12 01:07 AM
I'm thinking this is just somn they made strictly for The Voice. They couldn't be on NBC tawnbout crackas, one million niggas inside & ATL! A real Goodie Mob joint would have felt out of place, that ain't the platform for that. Naw, they gon make some iTunes money off Cee-Lo being on the show & then the real shit will be on the album
2690441, The album version will be longer with raps over the BOB like ending
Posted by Zarathuckya, Wed Apr-25-12 04:51 AM
Of course they'd have predicted we'd all be bitching about the lack of raps:

The extended album version will sound like Speedballin:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hspbNJFxESE

2690459, i guess i can see why yall bitchin.
Posted by mathmagic, Wed Apr-25-12 08:17 AM
but, i fux wit it.
2690460, i mean, y wouldn't they use Ceelo's success as a steppings stone?
Posted by mathmagic, Wed Apr-25-12 08:23 AM
its logical to do that out of the gate. I'm sure the whole record won't sound like that.
2690997, ^^^^^
Posted by Zarathuckya, Thu Apr-26-12 12:27 AM
People need to have more faith!
2690844, this is fucking atrocious
Posted by redbaron, Wed Apr-25-12 06:10 PM

their live performance on the voice was even worse
2690930, That was shitacular. Hopefully that's just a BS single for the radio
Posted by icecold21, Wed Apr-25-12 09:15 PM
and the rest of the album is more Goodie-like.

I doubt it though.
2690980, i'm all for Ceelo tryna pad his boys' pockets.
Posted by MISTA MONOTONE, Wed Apr-25-12 11:52 PM
i'm just gonna assume/hope that the demographic that they made this for are the people who will actually buy it, 'cause this certainly ain't hot in the streets.

sadly, i'm not sure that this song is even "effective". (c) ?uest

was it catchy? *shrugs*
2691363, RE: i'm all for Ceelo tryna pad his boys' pockets.

i hope it works for t-mo and dem they deserve it and i grew up on their shit...so i aint mad at them...although with future and cash out running the clubs i doubt this gets play anywhere south of buckhead
