As far as actual gigs I've been doing mostly gospel and pop/rock stuff. Jazz gigs have just about all gone away in my area.

I love this bass. But when it comes to jazz basses, they all are gonna have a great tone. Here's a clip of my playing Herbie Hancock's Actual Proof, and this is with a Mexican made Fender Jazz that I got for around $200. The tone is killing though!
