man I LOVED these dudes.. that rawkus era in the beginning was so good, I miss that whole record label :(

that's actually one of my best music memories.. growing up in Athens, Greece in pre-internet days it was obviously hard to find out about good new music.. used to buy my cans for graf from this little shop owned by these two greek brothers who grew up in nyc and they used to get these mix tapes (yes on actual tapes.. those were the days) sent to them. I remember looking through them and I chose one with artists I knew on it, had some biggie, some wu tang, that sort of thing, and the one brother, still remember his graf name ODY ROC handed me the first soundbombing and said 'trust me, i know you havent heard of anyone on here, but just.. trust me'.. and holy shit was he right. He hooked me up with so much good music after that through his contacts.
