Don't know if I'd add the "doesn't hold up to vets" part, unless that's strictly about output. There also weren't a ton of "well-rounded" (if that means what i think it means) solo acts to date in either art form when the referenced artist died. Both artists exemplified the absolute artistic peaks of their lane/sub-genre of the form at their passing.
