Roy did disco VERY well, IMO. I'd have to agree with SoWhat on the extended version of "Runnin' Away" as well....fucking sublime.

When it comes to an artist like Roy Ayers.

I'll choose "He's a Superstar, Baby" as my favorite song. But I might change my mind before the post goes through...

I never really became obsessed with any of his albums enough to cite one as my absolute favorite. I probably have 6 or 8 of them, though.

he has so many albums.... that's probably my favorite one... I have a 5 Disc Coolidge Compilation for him ...but if I had to say official albums...it would be that live one...
