Dre back then and even today I enjoy his 90's work far more. But because he doesn't have major label backing, units sold, and name recognition he get over shadowed by Dre.
Plus Dre is a hell of a A&R. Most people will bring up the fact he "discovered" or put other artist on as factor to his "greatness" behind the boards

All have production that stood the test of time. Just dont' have that mainstream radio Top 40 hits like Dre did.
