2678328, Pitbull needs to die...
Posted by bwood, Tue Mar-27-12 07:04 AM
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=88406

This is the type of shit he does now?
And what's with the random dubstep breakdown near the end of the track?
And was Bog Willie to busy to do the song? I never would've thought that I'd ever say I miss Will rapping, but I miss Will rapping...
2678348, ^mad that his fave artist ain't coming with it
Posted by k_orr, Tue Mar-27-12 09:13 AM
2678352, hahaha listen to the song tho... it's kinda terrible..
Posted by DonWonJusuton, Tue Mar-27-12 09:27 AM
even though i wouldn't say this "pitbull should die" stuff...

2678357, I agree...not literally, but fade from ever releasing music ever agin
Posted by Admbmb, Tue Mar-27-12 09:46 AM
He's gotta be the luckiest sumbitch in the history of music. Im serious.
2678377, the guy has bud light commercials.... nuff said

2678378, Has anyone "sold out" more successfully than him
Posted by CMcMurtry, Tue Mar-27-12 10:36 AM
I use the term loosely because it doesn't seem relevant to modern rap music anymore.

However, I remember when dude was a Southern rapper from Miami who spit on DJ Khaled mixtapes and had Lil' Jon produced crunk "hits".

Now he's Rico Suave.
2678382, how can a complete and total HACK sell out?
Posted by philpot, Tue Mar-27-12 10:45 AM
theres no substance to sell in the first place

fuck pitbull's life
2678398, RE: how can a complete and total HACK sell out?
Posted by Original Juice, Tue Mar-27-12 11:09 AM
THIS...

And the title of this thread.
2678463, Well he went from making bassy Miami rap to dance pop music
Posted by CMcMurtry, Tue Mar-27-12 01:12 PM
2678470, Pitbull perfectly embodies the cultural cesspool of his homestate to me
Posted by Bombastic, Tue Mar-27-12 01:34 PM
he's beaten Flo-Rida at his own game.

I long ago stopped being mad at shit like that, they're not aiming for me as a listener & outside of halftime/pregame at major sporting events I can mostly avoid seeing or hearing any of this bullshit.
2678474, You must not ever hear top 40 radio
Posted by CMcMurtry, Tue Mar-27-12 01:47 PM
2678478, I do but only in passing, not as something I'd put on myself
Posted by Bombastic, Tue Mar-27-12 01:58 PM
.
2678482, He is all over it. As in, every hour his voice is heard
Posted by CMcMurtry, Tue Mar-27-12 02:07 PM
2678511, I know all those joints, I just don't put myself in position to have them
Posted by Bombastic, Tue Mar-27-12 02:54 PM
beaten into my head.

The only reason I can see being in that position was if you worked somewhere that you had to listen to a certain radio statio (like a retail or restaurant spot) and I'm passed the point in my life where I'd have a gig like that.

But if someone past early adolescence is listening to Z100 type of stations on their own for extended stretches than they've got musical issues beyond just hearing too much Pitbull.
2678483, There's no such thing as top 40 anymore, it's top 20
Posted by zuma1986, Tue Mar-27-12 02:11 PM
2678493, If you mean there are 20 songs in rotation, then yeah
Posted by CMcMurtry, Tue Mar-27-12 02:25 PM
20 might even be a stretch.
2678383, ive been sayn this for a minute
Posted by araQual, Tue Mar-27-12 10:47 AM

2678386, random dubstep breakdowns are about to be the THING
Posted by Nodima, Tue Mar-27-12 10:52 AM
Tyga's Love Game is a 7 minute track only because the last three minutes are a dubstep section that comes out of absolutely nowhere

I mean sample 30 seconds of any portion of the first five minutes of this monster, then try the last 2:30

it's goofy shit

Man,
I just want to say that in every thread you post in, when I get to yours, I have no idea what the thread is about. I have no idea what the post is about. I'm lost as to what the hell is going on.
Not saying anything about your posting style (I can't, really), but your icon demands my attention.
2678391, he's a fucking piece of shit.
Posted by ChuckFoPrez, Tue Mar-27-12 11:01 AM

2678404, this is actually a decent movie credits track
Posted by DolphinTeef, Tue Mar-27-12 11:21 AM
not too corny and fresh enough to have the moviegoers exit kinda hype.

Posted by JFrost1117, Tue Mar-27-12 09:55 PM
I'd never seen a girl's brain leave her head before that day. When the song was on, she was bright and present. The cameras stopped rolling and her brain was possibly attached with a balloon string, at best.
2678507, His music's effect on women is outstanding....
Posted by phemom, Tue Mar-27-12 02:45 PM
I'm no fan, but there aren't too many artists that get women TO THE FLOOR...Mr 305 does it. White gurls go crazy for his shit. If you looked at the old TVT roster and someone told you Pitbull would get the most burn, you wouldn't believe em.

Which pisses me off, because my buddy and I had a track that used that Mickey and Sylvia song about ten years ago. I wanted to write a song that completely dogged chicks, but would be so infectious they would love it and not even care what the lyrics were. And we started playing it out, and no shit... that guitar riff starts and chicks immediately were on board. It's that DIRTY DANCING affect. They love that shit (see: "The Time (Dirty Bit)"). Matter of fact, when that song blew up, I knew it was only time before other songs off that soundtrack got put on a cut.
