based off your post. I'd never heard her before, seen a huge poster of her at Rasputin's music the other day.

First two songs i heard (video games, born2die) were ok not my cup of tea. The one i'm on right now Blue Jeans is good.

>Robert Raimon Roy - El Tigre Blanc

It's short and more like an EP, but def has some of his best songs yet. Slightly less Outkast-y and slightly more 'experimental/indie electronic' and 'ambient R&B' sounding..probably like it equal to King Warrior Magician Lover
2672063, How did you get it?
Posted by Admbmb, Sun Mar-11-12 01:38 PM
That Little Egypt Wavy song goes hard as hell.
2673109, RE: How did you get it?
Posted by amplifya7, Tue Mar-13-12 10:07 PM
around 2008-2009 I made a post in this forum that got little response titled something like "Why didn't Stankonia have a bigger influence?" Rob saw it and sent me a message with links to 4 songs from KWML a year or two before that was out and I was hooked...since then I've spread the word about his music and been a fan/supporter and exchanged e-mails once in a blue moon so i guess i was on a list of friends/fam/supporters he sent Le Tigre Blanc to when it was finished.
2673244, that's dope, and i remember that post
Posted by howisya, Wed Mar-14-12 08:55 AM

2687271, damn so has anything GREAT come out this year yet?
Posted by Stadiq, Tue Apr-17-12 04:53 PM
Don't get me wrong I am hyped for whats to come- specifically, I have faith in both El P projects...

Just seems like by this time last year there were a lot more high quality hip hop releases

Off the top I have enjoyed

Add-2

Chris Faust- Villain

Schoolboy Q (though Setbacks was much, much, much better)

KRIT

getting into this Billy Woods...

I feel like I'm forgetting a couple, but there just doesn't seem to be as many quality releases as last year.

What am I forgetting/missing? (I still gotta check out First Serve)

(don't say Homeboy Sandman both those eps were NOT GOOD outside of a track or two)
2687408, RE: damn so has anything GREAT come out this year yet?
Posted by Goose, Tue Apr-17-12 08:20 PM
Honestly the only album I keep going back to this year is Lana Del Rey's.

The Shins is pretty great too.
2687272, oh, and is P.O.S. dropping anything this year?
Posted by Stadiq, Tue Apr-17-12 04:54 PM
