2671278, the most grating on the ears is def. Wayne out of that list.

I could make an excuse for the rest. And I hate that 50 Cent song like few things are hated.

but "Lollipop" is probably the beginning of "Bullshit Wayne". I thought he was trolling for real when he brought that out. I'd almost want to listen to Lil B.
2671307, Chingy-Right Thurr is worse than anything on that list...
Posted by phemom, Thu Mar-08-12 03:09 PM
...and that ain't even the worst one. "Fuck All Night" was fucking dope too.
2671321, Nah, and that's a COMPLETELY different scenario

2671310, Air Force 1s - Nelly

2671315, Tied: Waybe "How to Love"/Nelly "Over & Over"

.
2671322, "Fuck all night" wasn't even a single so it shouldn't really be listed
Posted by -DJ R-Tistic-, Thu Mar-08-12 03:26 PM
It was just a Poppy album cut
2671327, I wondered about the parameters of this post
Posted by Dr Claw, Thu Mar-08-12 03:30 PM
>It was just a Poppy album cut

because if we were going to consider poppy album cuts, LOL...
I was about to go fire up the DUMP TRUCK
2671346, Yeah. Maybe "Me & My Girlfriend" or "Sunshine"

Not good or bad. But how he flipped a Pac song on some simp shit? Eh.
2671355, Yeah I hated that song so much it almost made me dislike them as a couple

>shit? Eh.

"Crazy In Love" was tight, but that joint? I definitely wasn't trying to see Jay going that route. And to top it off the video used to be on BET all damn day.

2671441, oh god....talking about two of the worst Jay-Z singles ever
Posted by Dr Claw, Thu Mar-08-12 10:50 PM
I don't think Jay + Puff Daddy-style music worked at all.
2671323, Jay-Z's worst song ever is "I Know What Girls Like"

"Fuck all night" do you mean Face-off with Sauce??? I'm guessing not, because that shit was FLAMES.
2671326, nah....

...that was a song on The Blueprint 2, it sort of sounds like... well, 2002.

Get in a late model Cavalier, lite up your cig and spend the late night doing some dumb shit kind of music.

edit: "Face Off" is flames, so is "Face Off 2000" (on Sauce's album)
2671336, RE: nah....

2671443, that song is so weird... like Erick and Parrish in an ep of Miami Vice.
Posted by Dr Claw, Thu Mar-08-12 10:51 PM
I wonder whose idea that track was.
2671356, roots - birthday girl
Posted by Guinness, Thu Mar-08-12 04:49 PM
2671358, the backlash to that was fucking awkward.
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Thu Mar-08-12 04:57 PM
like...i couldnt believe that shit happened.

i kinda liked the song.

*kanyeshrug*
2671440, I think it just was an odd fit on the album
Posted by Dr Claw, Thu Mar-08-12 10:49 PM
I wasn't adverse to the collab (it wasn't as weird as M.O.P. with LFO... which wasn't a bad song but just like, ok, why are you putting these dudes on their song), but the Roots have been good about being topical with their albums for the most part.
2671392, Wiz Khalifa, "No Sleep"
Posted by Unprogrammedminds, Thu Mar-08-12 06:52 PM
Yuck!

The cheezy synths and annoying, baby-shit-soft hook isn't even the worst things about this trifle, it's the annoying sense of pandering that surrounds its.

if we're talking Wiz, I'd have to go with "Say Yeah" because it was such a change from what he was doing before.

2671404, I still dont get the "you owe me" hate
Posted by melmag, Thu Mar-08-12 08:01 PM

the beat knocks, catchy ass hook, and Nas was actually spittin on that track, same ol dope lyricism & flow we expect from him, albeit the "flossy" subject matter. But that's to be expected though, it was meant for the club & radio and it succeeded in that.

Guess he's kinda spoiled us, cus if this had been another rapper doing this same song, yall would be saying how hot it was
