2668764, i dug all 3 for different reasons

Radio was raw and a reflection of the times and he was just rocking it on a turntable and spitting his style. Dear Yvette was tha cut. dig a cat just coming out and putting it down like that.

Bad had more boom and then he hits you with the slow jam I need Love which changed the game at that point. Bad though was booming.

mama said knock you out is what made him One of if not the Greatest ever. very polished album and yet he came back hard. i mean how many acts all across genre lines have said don't call it a comeback because i've been here for years?

LL came back on his own terms and in a far more competitive era of rap music believe that.

2668773, Classics on all of them. Also, this is my yearly...

"WALKING WITH A PANTHER Wasn't That Bad" post. There were a lot of good (and a lot of hilariously bad) cuts on that album.
2668782, It was bloated...
Posted by jaybennie, Wed Feb-29-12 11:33 AM
The singles were butter, but I could see the album trying to go along the lines of 'I need love' success. It failed, which L knew he wasn't gonna go back to on the following release. Again, the tracks that banged, BANGED!!!
2668781, B.A.D. was the first album I ever bought with my own money....

so it has a sentimental place for me,but I voted Mama Said Knock You Out.

2668892, Mr. Smith to me...
Posted by Thanes1975, Wed Feb-29-12 03:59 PM
Mr. Smith is LL best LP to me. No, he didnt MC on Mr. Smith better than the LP's you listed but Mr. Smith felt like LL in his true comfort zone, dope singles, videos, and consistent flow with the LP

but out of those 3....Mama was the best b/c Marl was in a zone
2668909, did MSKYO have "milky cereal" on it?
Posted by Joe Corn Mo, Wed Feb-29-12 04:53 PM
it doesn't matter.
i am pretty sure that all of them are classics,
but i didn't keep all of them.

i am pretty sure i have a bunch of tracks from MSKYO, though.

and "milky cereal" is the jam forever.
that loop is addictive.

the snare, the sped up bass,
just everything.

but it always sounds like ll cool j is trying
to get me into bed. he always talks like he's whispering in my ear. lol

i think i dig MSKYO the most of the three,
from what i remember. i dig the sparse production on radio,
but i listen to his denser material more.

so, i pick MSKYO.

"You ain't got to say no more man...IT'S OVAH" - Red and Meth on How High

I'm Bad the song is my personal thesis statement on why I rap. "No rapper can rap, quite like I can..." NUFF SAID!!

BAD the album bangs ridiculously for DAYS! Play Kanday at any function right now today and watch the reaction you get. Vicious head bobbin, spontaneous outbreaks of the Wop, stank faces galore...one of my personal dj weapons. And for that jewel alone....

You're Welcome - Kobe.
