I like how ?uest was spinning the originals. Cats don't really see the genius in Dilla's shit until they hear his sources.
Real talk...I was workin' at a jazz station back in 1996-1998, and I bought the Ahmad Jamal album based off the Stakes usage. I got the vinyl of it, but I still hope that album gets issued on CD.
