Pretty dope track...surprised Def Jam is supporting this
2659518, Dude's actually real dope, it sucks that

I Love College was his introduction to most people. His tapes I've heard after that album have all been dope.
2659520, Asher really is dope. It's good to see him still being himself.

2659551, Yeah I agree, shocked to see Def Jam Apparently using this

as a single.

It sounds like Indie rap from the mid 00's and lightweight Roots music
2659569, Damn - this is really fucking dope.

I never gave him a chance cause the few tracks I heard from his "I Love College" days were mad corny (though I did recognize that he could spit, despite that)...but this I'm feeling 100%.

Has he done anything since I Love College? When did that album come out anyway? Feels like ages ago.
2659652, RE: Damn - this is really fucking dope.

he dropped a mixtape back in '10 which was really dope, spit over dilla, 9th, just, madlib beats etc.

then he did a great ep with nottz later that year

then last december he dropped Pabts & Jazz (which this song is from), and it's easily his best work to date. Really shows his potential as an emcee.
2659574, His song Ampersand has me playing it on repeat

Charizma + Peanut Butter Wolf — 'Methods'

I'm actually surprised that I like Asher's track.

2659612, I like it a lot. But the singer is unnecessary and sounds out of place

But yes, as people are saying, Asher has definitely got talent. He came off on both the "Alexander Green" album and the track on the Cool Kids album. He sounds more comfortable in this lane.
2659684, He's been doing some good stuff

outside of that track with Akon. I hope whenever his next album comes out it has some more Nottz beats on there.
