I have issues with her politics, I don't condone the Tamil Tigers by any means, I think they are the lesser of two evils in that country but they have done some truly horrific shit in the civil war and really do not deserve shout outs on such a massive stage by such a huge artist. the tamil people? yeah of course, but the tigers nope. That being said I'm happy to hear MIA mention them because I appreciate music with meaning, I'd rather hear some idiot rhyme about the KKK or something else rather than meaningless pop shit, so in that sense I appreciate MIA and the fact that she is trying to say something, I don't necessarily have to agree with what that is.
