like these dudes didn't have all the hype in the world around them before
their first albums dropped? NY used to be a small city, so to speak.

but whatever, I'll give Premo props for providing his beats to up and coming
talent. But that being said, he was the sound of NY in the mid 90's so naturally they
were going to him for that.

I mean I'm born & bred NYC yo. So nobody on the innanets needs to convince
me how great DJ Premier is. That dude is like the soundtrack to my upbringing.

The fact that I can even see it somewhat objectively is twisted. I should be in here
claiming Premo as the undisputed heavy weight champ of all time.

but what can I say, J Dilla changed my life too! In a different kind of way.
