Joy In Repetition, Still Would Stand All Time, We Can Funk were the same way.

We didn't really know it then but his creative light had already dulled by this point & he was keeping the thing moving on the fumes of his earlier prolific period.

But yeah, there's a reason 'Skillet' & 'Jerk Out' are the joints you hear them do in shows since. They're the two that best stand up to the rest of their catalog from earlier.

I haven't listened to Pandemonium in so long (I never even upgraded to CD on that, it still sits in a chest with the rest of my cassettes from 87-90 in a South Jersey basement) that I'm tempted to do so just to reconfirm but I'm sure I'll feel the same way.
