of quality material which is vastly different than Quanity which Little Richard also said about Prince by the way.

also the folks Prince had around him challenged him and he fed off that energy.

his 90's stuff till now is hit and alot of miss.

dude been a consistant live stage act for 20 plus years, but the studio stuff ain't been memorable IMO.

and Stevie Wonder,George Clinton,Curtis Mayfield,lionel richie,maurice white, R.kelly prolific cats and there are other acts who did it strong for a decade and longer and didn't lose there best stuff.

tough for Prince fans to accept that. he said himself the 80's was his best era of music making.

just because prince wrote alot for others doesn't mean it was all memorable either.
