I was skeptical of the Time "getting the band back together" and was salty about having to go to Best Buy to get te DVD (you know support your local record store instead)....


....but the Original 7ven delivered a great album. Several cuts stand out. My favorites are Toast to the Party Girl and If I Was Yo Man. But the album is full of quality songs.

And getting the DVD is like finding $20 bills in an old pair of pants. It gives a great look at the guys in the band and their respective and collective stories. It made me laugh for real again and again. The retelling Alexander O'Neal meeting at Perkins was hilarious.

If you were ever a fan of MPLS funk cop this album and the DVD as soon as you can.
