as a Kid alone and had he retired as child artist this wouldn't even be a discussion because MJ as a 11 year old Boy out sung/Sang nearly everybody. even Ole Blue Eyes Frank Sinatra once said the only Singer he worried about was Michael Joe Jackson.

all the singers mentioned are there as is Jackie Wilson, as is R.Kelly(don't front because Kellz can hang and history will show that)

Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Billy Eckstine, David Ruffin, Eddie Kendricks, Steve Arrington and a few more.


but back to MJ he did it all with his voice. Marvin and those guys never sang/sung a Rock Song

never hybrided there voice to Hip Hop.

MJ was singing Jazz songs, had classical songs, his voice was an incredible Instrument period.


i love Marvin Gaye he is a Singing Genius as is Sam Cooke,Ottis Redding, Jackie Wilson, but Michael Joe Jackson had a voice beyond his years as a kid and a young adult that was 2nd to no one IMO.
