It's borderline, because they made four great albums before the break-up, but I think they would have thrived and only added to their legend if they'd kept going during the '93-'96 era. They were better equipped than a lot of groups to thrive in that era without switching up their sound. Erick Sermon's production remained top-notch during that period, and I imagine PMD wouldn't have fucked up his flow.
And I've said it before, but I think it's a tragedy because hip-hop never really was quite as fun post-EPMD break-up. It was the first time that hip-hop "died" a little bit to me.
