Assuming they 'treat' them as important?
Not that they aren't important in their overall body of work, but that they treated them as such.

I only say this after Quarstice because I listened to the official and outtakes almost equally, and I just hear session after session, take after take. I assume it flows like that throughout their process. And considering they don't attribute themes to their music (pretty sure I can find a quote to support that), I wouldn't think they treated their EP's any different than other sessions.

Actually the question I'd ask is how they approach sequencing because they do very well in that regard, which may be why the EQ's seem as important.
