I know he was born there but I don't know much time he spent there. He's a weird (though extremely intelligent rapper) and although I know it's highly stereotypical, I always think of Maine as a very strange, secluded, woodsy, outdoorsy kind of state. So to me being a very different kind of rapper fits that atmosphere.
