2626591, Shuya Okino's Destiny album is jazz-funk and club soul

A good portion of the record is covers of classics by Don Blackman, Eddie Russ, Rose Royce, and Aquarian Dream. The rest are originals inspired by the jazz-funk era.
It's hella expensive (I think Dusty Groove has it for over $30) but Okino is part of Kyoto Jazz Massive and just about anything he makes is worth checking out.
