February 13th – 2Pac releases his fourth album and first for Death Row Records “All Eyez On Me”, on this day in 1996.

The album spawned two number one hit singles; “California Love” (ft. Dr. Dre and the late great Roger Troutman of Zapp) and “How Do You Want It?” (ft. K-Ci & JoJo).

Other hit singles on this classic set included “2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted” (ft. Snoop Dogg), “All Bout U” and “I Ain’t Mad At Cha.”

Other guests on the album included The Dogg Pound, Danny Boy, Michel’le, Rappin’ 4-Tay, the late Nate Dogg, Method Man, Redman and P-Funk legend George Clinton.

The double disc has sold over nine million copies worldwide and was reportedly recorded in two weeks.
