yes there are some gaps but she was a huge ass star in her day, retained a great stage presence WAY beyond what could have been expected, had some second moments in her career and has an intriguing story that limited her early and carried her at times later.

i'd say she outlasted her catalog, not her talent, and the reason is that she's bigger than just her catalog (which has some songs we'll hear until we die anyway).
