that he decided to write I Am The Walrus because everyone was digging for meaning in EVERY song they recorded.

So he basically I Am The Walrus and said something like "let the fuckers figure that one out"

Which is funny, because the meaning that a few people came up with from that song actually makes sense.

How it was about Paul being the Walrus and leading the Beatles to mislead the public with silly pop music etc.

Not sure if I totally buy it, but it is an interesting theory.
