but they're usually the minority. most fans i've met are just music lovers n nerds and act with respect. as far as Aaliyah nutjobs, i haven't seen evidence of that much on OKP. u see that kinda shit mostly on YouTube vid comments where all the crazies convene and be crazy. i just felt like, im not a crazy person, and i love the shit outta Aaliyah (not just the personal connection but for the music too). so doesn't the criticism kinda include ppl like me as well? n im not delusional either, im a fan but not 'teh crazy'. i think her place in r&b history is there for a reason that has nothing to do with a premature death. so i still feel the need to defend her (and my) position. the implication is that Aaliyah's music, no matter how highly regarded, is inferior. and i don't agree with that sooo......
