I get what you're saying, but good music isn't a simple equation like x + y + z = classic.
If the artists don't share the same vision, the chemistry isn't there, etc., it ain't gonna sound good. At this point it would probably not sound like Little Brother, it would sound like Phonte produced by 9th featuring a Pooh verse. That ain't the same.
Mos and Kweli never had a falling out, and there still hasn't been a second Black Star album. They're in different places artistically compared to 13 years ago. It would sound forced and less like a group and more like just two dudes rhyming.
I'd rather them do what they want and do it well.
