This record makes it easy to see why. Jake One laying down some authentic jr. P-funk wit Bootsy to make it official? Mr. Porter on the hook channeling the spirit of Curtis Mayfield? Khalifa leaving that sing songy s**t at the door and entering the booth with a purpose?! KOKANE?! Snoop with a vison/message that he keeps up through the majority of the album. Geting my support on release day, no question.

I agree, 5 or so tracks removed, and this would be an album that gets spun from top to bottom every time. But I'm not complaining by any means. There is alot of knowledge in this thread. I was lovin R&G and Blue Carpet when they dropped. I was let down by ego trippin. It only got worse with malice. But doggumentary wipes the slate clean. Add to that that Dam-Funk said that he's been sliding Snoop a couple tracks, and I'm hopeful for Snoops next record before this one even drops.

But hold up....Snoop has writers? I got some audio homework to do....
