for me that is, because it was the first album of theirs I really listened to front to back in 96/97 when I was 15/16. It captures a feeling that really broke through with Stones Throw, Rawkus and Def Jux a xcouple of years later. That album spoke a lot to the way I felt about rap and society at the time. I have no clue what album niggaz is listening to when they say it sucks or is boring. It's still my favorite De La LP.
