They started out as Dexy's Midnight Runners worshippers (yup!) but went in a more 80's R&Bish pop direction after that... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmtZNUSNlVA
Their last album "1987" was way to inspired by the worst part of the 80's for my taste though...
Not much punk in this band though even if they are big amongst swedish indie-fans...
