2504484, sure buddy Posted by MarVeL, Sat Feb-12-11 07:27 PM
This is just a personal favorite song of mine and I thought since there are most likely people here who haven't heard it, I'd give them the opportunity to.
Also if anyone else has links to share I'm really only familiar with the infinite album and the song off lyricists lounge 2.

Unrealistically Graphic

Poo Butt

Both are featuring Kid Chaos. Kinda makes me think of KMD.
EDIT: Here's another early 90s Em joint:

|
2504598, You're right Posted by Zarathuckya, Sun Feb-13-11 02:36 AM
I was thinking Pharoahe but AZ is more accurate
|
2504599, especially the 2nd verse... Posted by Dstl1, Sun Feb-13-11 02:37 AM
i had to look up at the screen right quick like "who is this again?"
|
2504677, I was thinking Pharoahe too Posted by zuma1986, Sun Feb-13-11 11:30 AM
I've always heard the Nas/AZ comparison for his early stuff but kinda only the AZ but never the Nas (I see it later in his career)
|
2504674, em's talked abt that in interviews. Posted by dula dos pistolas, Sun Feb-13-11 11:27 AM
in 95/96 he was a really big nas/AZ fan, and consciously imitated their style.
same way all of nas's early demos sound exactly like g rap.
it takes time to find your own voice, even for the great ones.
|
2504691, Was gonna say that. Posted by Musa, Sun Feb-13-11 11:56 AM
.
|
2504780, cool... Posted by Dstl1, Sun Feb-13-11 04:06 PM
and while I've never heard that, for some reason I thought I remembered where he said he owed a lot of credit for his style to Masta Ase.
