Yeah, great to go back to where some producers came from. Producer/multi-musician Reggie Griffin was also in this group.
He was hired a lot for Sugar Hill productions such as Grand Master Flash' "Scorpio" on which he performs almost all instruments and the vocoder.
A few years later he was A&R at Warner Brothers and contributed to Chaka Khan's single "I Feel For You".
