Jeru was one of my favorite artists for a while when he had his first two albums, but when he did his third album "Heroz For Hire" it was proven not just that he couldn't make beats he needed guidance when it came to how to put songs together cause that album he just felt like he just did what he wanted without structure.

When he released his fourth & fifth albums, he others to make beats but most of the songs was missing what people wanted from him, Premier or Premier-esqe beats which it almost seemed like he was staying away from that sound on purpose; but at least he found his way with structure again, concepts were focused instead per song.
