^^^^co-sign all this. That's why I think Death is Certain is such a strong album, his songwriting was excellent and he actually made an album instead of a collection of attempted hits. And yes .... his flow became top-notch on Bar Exam II. He found a way around each of those beats and it was wildly impressive. And as always his lyrics were on point. So sharp.

I didn't love Street Hop really, I thought that was one of his "collection of hits" attempts but I'll have to listen again, I haven't really listened since shortly after it came out. I always felt it was a little too long. But there are some GEMS on there, including potentially my favorite Royce song of all time "Shake This".
