...it's Eddie. The funny thing is that on lists in the 80's, there was no doubt that dude was a gamechanger and he was arguably a bit overrated even if it was understandable due to his MASSIVE impact at the time.

However, ever since grunge, I've seen more and more lists about guitarists in music-magazines that put him REALLY low or sometimes not even there at all. I find it very strange because I think lists like this should have some kind of balance but the message they are sending out is pretty much that all good (rock) guitarplaying after the 60's-early 70's is stuff that disregard chops and technique.
