And with Gang Starr, the beats DO clearly outshine the rhymes.

I never tore down Guru, people just caught feelings.

Then when I pointed out that Guru isn't exactly a lyrical genius, and that the beats DO outshine the rhymes they thought I was saying Guru was whack.

I don't need super lyricism to enjoy the music, I like Gucci/Kid Cudi/Jeezy.

It's about enjoying the music.

I enjoy Gang Starr's production, and Guru is just good enough to pass; and allow me to head nod and zone out.
