especially music. It’s just never worked for me, which is why I never stopped coming here. Even if there’s far fewer people contributing, there’s still quality music discussions, recommendations, etc. I don’t get that anywhere else.

cuz, this could be a really cool space again.

all the oligarchs have ruined the places people that used to come here ran to, and this is still here fairly unchanged from 20 years ago.

granted, people have families and careers and bills to pay, but still.

those constant certificate issues have been killing it for damn near a decade now - and yeah, everyone I know is tired of what social media has become in the algorithm era. This place would never be like it was 20 years ago, but I’m sure it would be a lot more active than this if the certificate issues weren’t there.

Maybe The Roots will put out a new album, and care about this place again? Lol.
