Like I said, he tours club sized venues and does spots in NYC all the time. A show at Caveat doesn’t need some salacious shit to sell out.

I never liked dude because he gossiped like a girl. Like he would be texting/IM all these women I knew and he low keyed tried that with my wife I think (this was like 20 years ago before we were married).

Anyway a friend of mind started dating an ex-girlfriend of his and that dude was at their baby shower (I told my boy keep and eye on that sheisty dude)

Anyway his main crew was like 4 guys he grew up with and word got out that he was spending time with one the dudes ex-wife. The whole guy friend group dropped his ass.

He married and had two kids with the woman but has expressed regret for doing it. How do I know, because he still be texting/IM women I know that he probably shouldn't like ex-girlfrends.

Anyway, dudes like that got no code and I can't stand them.

A discussion for another post I suppose but my daughter is 4 and I've already had to spend a disproportionate amount of time deprogramming her from gendered thinking. Not sure where she hears it, it's certainly not at home. But things like "blue is a boy color/pink is a girl color !" and shit like that.

It starts at the hospital with wrapping them in blue or pink. It's a battle from there for whatever gender.

So keep having those conversations. My daughter is adult now. My son is a teen. Still talking about it. Their perspectives are fascinating.

It's definitely omnipresent from birth, no question.

My daughter is undoubtedly a girly girl, but for the most part I think she's come to that naturally. But from time to time I still have to correct her about colors, toys, etc. as I mentioned. It's wild.

Most of my and my wife's family are on the progressive side of things, which is good. She'll have good examples from her uncles/aunts/cousins and such. For example, my 5yo nephew (my wife's sister's son), gets consistent pedicures with his mom, and always chooses red and pink lol. It's awesome. We were just in Florida for Christmas and he was strolling the beach with his alternating red/pink toenails, it made me very proud.

'supposed' to be. they can define that for themselves and how they define it won't make them less than.

But I wouldn't want a dude like that around me and I wouldn't want my sons to behave like that.
