Deeply saddened by this. Legendary dj/produer.
13512131, Always loved him. Didn't realize how many great songs/albums he had his hands in.

13512136, DJ Clark Kent really produced some of **MY** favorite songs ever:
Posted by PROMO, Mon Oct-28-24 09:49 AM
Junior MAFIA "I Need You Tonight" & "Playas Anthem"
Mad Skillz "Move Ya Body"
Biggie "Skys The Limit"
Jay Z "Brooklyn's Finest"
Rakim "Guess Whos Back" & "Remember That"
Rick Ross "Super High"

Maaaaaaan, RIP
13512138, I legtimately never knew he'd done Sky's the Limit til he died.

That's one of the most classic, smoothest beats/songs ever.

Mega props.

for the most part it was always VERY smooth. rarely doing too much.
13512143, Totally. Always such a vibe, lush and rhythmic.

13512154, One of the most personable people I have ever met
Posted by tomjohn29, Mon Oct-28-24 11:54 AM
Would randomly see him around DC at certain spots
He asked me my name after the first time we met
Never forgot it when I would randomly see him.
Last time I saw him was a couple years ago.
During Covid..you had to make appointments to go to Major DC
I walk in with my son and the owner and Clark are sitting there talking.
Clark see me and sees my son....
We talk for awhile...son starting getting into drum machines
Clark hits him with a truck on MPC3000 and my sons eyes light up.

told my son he passed....he got sad.
This morning I wake up and go to his room....6:30 in the morning he was on a drum machine...damn
Thanks Clark
13512156, Damn. That's deep.
