Because to some extent, the entire point I'm making about Pal-Americans is coming from the perspective of a white guy who doesn't feel it's my place to say "well you should vote anyway" to a community of people who are dealing with things I could never imagine.

I wouldn't do this to you, either, if you said you were sitting home in November because of X issue that impacts the Black community. Not my place.
