the fact that YOUNG teens run around this country with guns and it's part of their identity and they use them at a moments notice for the dumbest stuff...it's truly disheartening.
that family is now destroyed 10 times over. just fucking sad.

an an exaggerated line. Like it couldn’t ACTUALLY be about Christmas gifts, must have been an issue where one sibling stole money or drugs or something from another and once confronted it came to violence. But no - it was literally the shooter being mad about his brother getting more gifts than he got.
I don’t know. The combination of being young enough to care about how many gifts you get while carrying and knowing how to use a gun, and being willing to use that gun on your sister and her baby? This ish just doesn’t compute with me.

I don’t attribute much to demons/“The Devil” but a chain shooting?
I got a Subway gift card. I can’t even stand the smell of Subway. Not once did I think to shoot my grandparents for giving it to me. The “shoot -> kill -> figure out the consequences later” pipeline is lost on me.

I’ve seen my cousins fight over it
I’ve seen my daughters cry when they see the other kid get presents on their birthday.
Hell, I seen my friends mom shame her child for getting his gf a present and not getting her something. Ended up with her slapping another kid on Christmas and then telling me and my cousins our families wasn’t shit when we laughed.
but I never thought a gun would come out or a knife fight would happen over some damn presents.
