is important, i think. people getting snapped on for "one mistake". well imagine being a person like Fallon in 2023...you gotta go talk to a camera every night...one stupid gaffe and that shit is going viral.

intersection between "comedy", "art" in general and new HR standards is tricky. being boring and predictable in the workplace may not make the best product. the idea that a comedian may be hungover at work and irritable...i mean would you rather watch Bill Hicks talk or Mitt Romney?

that balancing act isn't easy. being judgment free, super supportive...steel sharpens steel in comedy, being told your shit sucks is part of the process.

this not exactly standup scene, different dynamics. but i'd think workers would understand this some. the specifics of these complaints are..very weak. aha! seinfeld asked him to apologize--proof Fallon is a demon!
