Man the Roc era could've been really different if certain things happened.

Ras Kass. Big L. The Firm. MOP. Jaz-O. Sauce Money. Bleek.

13488599, man, i used to LOVE Ras Kass.

i was probably one of the few people i ever knew who REALLY fucked with the Rasassination album.
13488618, 1994/95 me thought that Ras Kass was going to end up the GOAT

I didn't love Rassassination, but there was "something" there.

In general, he was a guy who got into the game either a few years too early or a few years too late.
13488620, I liked that album.

West Coast had some lyrical miracle dudes

then its like they all got checked by Cali for trying to sound like they were from the East Coast

Shit, I was thrown by Heiroglypics and Pharcyde’s second albums. All a sudden that had the hard R Cali accent. But this is how they really sounded so it made sense, but I was East Coast so I wasn’t feeling it as much as their debut albums n
13488699, That 93ish to 95ish era LA had it all at a very high level.

Radio hits, underground heavyweights, hardcore. Man it was something special.
13488702, yeah, I was into a lot of that shit

Del, The Nonce, Ras Kass.. they were real left field with it too which was refreshing.

13488612, The podcast era has revealed some wild coulda/woulda/shoulda’s.

Niggas 20-30 years later tombout “Yeah, me, Hov, OutKast, & Snoop were talking about doing an album but it never came together.”
13488615, I don't fuck with Math all the time but his interview w/ Ras Kass

was good. I honestly thought Ras was around Bloods because Carson, but he did always shout out C-Arson. Should have known from that.

And still wild that they were gonna do the Golden State Warrior album like they wouldn't get a cease and desist. I think he was supposed to be in another supergroup with some east coast dudes too? That whole Western Hemisfear crew with Vooodu Bird and Meen Green was dope

13488722, We need to do a post about all the Phantom Super Groups that were

supposed to happen.

Q-Tip is like in half of them.
