the region they claimed as opposed to where they were originally from
biggest example to me is Digable Planets and their repping of Bklyn
most notable offer is "NOISE" off of Blowout Comb
it just reaks of BK back when BK was REALLY BK
honorable mention would of course be Luda and his contributions to the already deep soundscape of ATL
add on.
