seeing that it appears the majority of folks on her think Monique's current special is trash; Sommore's current special is getting some shine. I wouldn't have known that she has a current special it it wasn't for folks bring it up in this thread as I don't have a Netflix account. I might give this a gander. It's been many moons since I've seen her do stand-up, but I remember her as being a good storyteller and is able to a use bit of self-deprecating humor as well.

I have to admit, Booger Stimuli's response is making a small part of me want to watch Monique's special to see if she truly curses to the extent of his response. A larger part of me doesn't want to be bothered; I have vague memories of watching her segment from the Queens of Comedy special years ago and I found her material to be way over the top and too crass.
